Following is a categorized list of frequently asked questions. There are questions regarding our company and asphalt repair technique with infrared technology. There are also questions relating to Michigan and the colder climate here. Lastly, there are questions that will help people complete their do-it-yourself (DIY) projects.

Cracks and Potholes

Do you fill every crack in my asphalt?

As each repair job is different, it is hard to say. Areas of asphalt that have major “alligator” cracking will likely be repaired via infrared. However, we generally plan to fill ever crack in the repair area. If you have a unique situation or want further explanation, call us!

Why can’t you fill the alligator cracks?

It is almost always the case where alligator cracks have deteriorated the asphalt to a point where typical rubber sealing will not work. Depending on the size of the area the asphalt will either but cut out and replaced, or we will repair the area with our infrared heating solution.

Sealcoating

How often will my parking lot or driveway need to be sealed?

Depending on weather, traffic, and other use, a parking lot or driveway may need to be sealed every 2-4 years.
